Looking for a T Cup?

You will not find one here! As any reputable breeder will tell you, there is no such thing as a Tcup in the chihuahua breed. The breed standard for chihuahuas is 2 - 6 lbs, also please keep in mind most tiny chi's (2 lbs. or under) need constant care, and have a higher chance of health problems. We breed to better the dogs, not hinder it the breed & make money! who would pay more for a less healthy dog?

West Coast Chihuahuas is NOT a kennel, we do not sell puppies to Puppy Mills or Pet Shops.
We sell our puppies as "life-long" companions, occasionally we will sell show or breeding prospects to appropriate homes. The placement of our puppies is very important to us, and we do screen as best possible with new prospective puppy owners. We ask a lot of questions regarding, family, living arrangements ect, not to be nosey but to ensure only the best homes for our dogs. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse puppy sale to any home that we may deem inappropriate.

All of our puppies are raised in home, underfoot, they are all exposed to household noises including, vacuum, washer, etc.. They all interact with our family on a daily basis and are use to kids and babies. We begin puppy pee pad training as early as possible to make training easier for the new owner, we like them to have a head start.

We feed "Royal Canin Chihuahua 28", & Royal Canin mini puppy 33 and highly recommend it.

I have had experience and researched many other brands, and found that RC is the best suited for chihuahuas, being one of the only companies who makes a

chihuahua specific formulation. RC is a stool odour deminisher, my dogs coats changed dramatically for the better once on this food ,

it's small enough kibble for any chi and they love the taste.

As a new owner we expect a puppy to have a thorough vet check from your own vet within 3 buisness days of purchase of the puppy. We stand behind the health of our puppies, however in the event that your puppy has contracted something after going to it's new home from lack of care on your part eg: shots are not kept up to date, improper feeding, grooming. we will not be held responsible for anything that happens to the puppy as a consequence of your own negligence. We do not recommend exposing a new puppy outside or dog parks ect before all three vacine sets are done.

All puppies stay with us until they are at least 8 (eight) weeks old, sometimes until they are 12 (twelve) weeks old. Each litter is a little different, and the decision is based on "what is best for that individual puppy"!

A well bred chihuahua should be spirtited, alert, but not aggressive, graceful, the body should be well balanced with a well rounded skull and large flaring ears. I firmly believe that chihuahuas do excellent with children, including young children provided that the children and dog are both taught how to interact appropriately. Small children can fall on the puppy and hurt even lead to the death of a puppy, small children and chihuahua puppies should never be left alone together. As well we are not opposed to placing puppies in homes with other dogs or occasionally even with large dogs, as long as we feel comfortable that the potential puppy owner knows the temperament of the other dog, and that there is a process to introducing big dog to small dog!

I stay in close touch with my puppy people and like to know how much people are enjoying their pups from us, and how the pups are doing.

I am always available for my puppy people, before, during the process, and after the purchase of one of my puppies for advice with training.
